A great deal of Jim’s time is spent on the personal services team, advising clients as they navigate through emotionally and financially difficult life experiences. He strives to offer them support, while protecting the well-being of their children and preserving wealth as their lives take a new path. His work includes:

  • • Meeting with clients and appearing in court on their behalf
  • • Negotiating and drafting various documents, including divorce, separation, custody, support, and prenuptial agreements
  • • Working closely with other professionals such as accountants, doctors and therapists to provide the best services for the client

EDUCATION:

Jim frequently lectures on a multitude of family law topics, including drafting agreements, trial preparation, and custody and support matters. He is a 1990 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS:

He has been included in Who’s Who in American Law. Jim has been recognized for his professional and community accomplishments by the Rochester Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” In 2004, he was honored by Volunteer Legal Services Project, Inc., with the William E.
