After more than a decade at her own firm, Carol merged her law practice with ChamberlainD’Amanda in 1995. She has more than 27 years of experience, and has represented closely held and publicly traded corporations, government entities, family-owned businesses, partnerships, limited liability companies, and unincorporated associations, including not-for-profit entities. Her varied and extensive legal expertise includes:

A frequent speaker at legal seminars, Carol is also a prolific writer on zoning and planning, riparian rights, business, intellectual property, health law, and employment issues. She was a featured speaker at the Monroe County Bar Association Center for Education’s Intellectual Property Licensing seminar and its “Technology Transfer and Commercialization” seminar. Carol recently presented at the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors’ Finance II seminar, discussing entity formation related to commercial real estate transactions. She was also the primary presenter at the monthly Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce “ChamberlainD’Amanda Business Roundtable Series” in 2004.

Carol received the New York State Bar Association President’s Pro Bono Service Attorney Award and the Volunteer Legal Services Project William E. McKnight Pro Bono Service Award in 1996. She has been nominated twice for the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce Athena Award, and was the 2003 recipient of a Woman of Distinction Award from the Canandaigua Chapter of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of New York State and the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce.
