Anita works in one of the firm’s most emotional areas: family law. She helps clients deal with radical life changes and often overwhelming events. The focus of Anita’s efforts is to get clients out of unhappy personal situations, both emotionally and financially. Her work includes:
• Meeting with clients and appearing in court on their behalf
• Drafting documents such as divorce, separation, custody, and prenuptial agreements
• Negotiating with other attorneys
• Working closely with therapists, social workers, and self-help organizations

Anita frequently holds seminars and lectures on Family Law subjects.

FOR COMMUNITY
The widow of a rabbi, Anita’s community activites revolve around temple. She also does a great deal of traveling to visit children and grandchildren who live outside of Rochester.
EDUCATION:
Anita graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University in 1970, and received her J.D. in 1973 from Boston College. She became associated with our firm in 1974 and was named a partner in 1981.
